Biography
Angel Betancourt was raised in Yakima, Washington. In 2005, he joined the United States Air Force as a Tactical Air Control Party specialist, deploying to Iraq in 2007. His training included Army Airborne School and USAF Survival School.
After the service, he earned a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice, and then his law degree from the University of Idaho.
His practice covers criminal defense, family law, and civil protection orders. In criminal matters, he starts from the position that people deserve second chances and that the State should be made to prove its case. In family matters, his priority is keeping families together where that can be done, and protecting a parent’s relationship with their children where it cannot.
