Home / Practice Areas / Civil Protection Orders
Petitioner or respondent, these hearings move fast and the findings follow you for years.
Overview
Washington protection order cases are decided on written declarations and a short hearing. There is no jury, the standard is a preponderance, and the whole thing can be over in fifteen minutes. What survives is an order that can restrict where you live, whether you see your children, and whether you can lawfully possess a firearm.
We handle both sides: domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, anti-harassment, vulnerable adult, and extreme risk protection orders.
Consultations are free and confidential. Call during business hours or send a message any time.

If you have been served, do not wait for the hearing date to get help. The work that decides these cases happens before you walk into the courtroom.
